Mary Eeg and Trisha DellaVella live in the northeast Scarborough area – home of the Metro Toronto Zoo. Maybe it was the proximity of the zoo animals or their love of their dogs and cats that inspired them to create whimsical and zany quilt patterns. Having moved onto the same street in this neighborhood and finding they had the same interests in crafts and hobbies, they pursued these interests over the years.
Moving from crafts to quilting was a natural progression for both of them. Not ones to stay within the box, their patterns reflect their creativity and originality. Many of their patterns are raw edge machine applique and cover their love of zoo & jungle animals, nature, pets and children at play. They love to share their designs with others through Trunk Shows and Workshops. Their pattern HBH 401 – ColorPlay Weekender Bag is getting stronger interest and makes for a great one-day workshop.
